This will sound strange. Unbelievable. And we don't blame you if you don't believe us. But if you can just try. Stick with us just long enough to hear us out. We need your help.
We are not from your time.
For you, it is sometime in the early 2000s. The technology that lets us contact you is not as accurate as we'd like. All of our messages will keep replaying on loops. We just hope that someone - that you - are listening.
For us, the year is 2093.
And the world is dying. We came here, to uni. We were full of hope. Like you now. We new that things were bad but we were, we are, young. Nothing is insurmountable. But the damage is done. There is no hope now. Just a clock ticking down.
People can't breathe without respirators. The air is poison.
The earth shakes. The floods... the floods are constant.
But we've been able to reach back to you. You can change it all. You just need to work out how. You need to change. You can make it all go away if you just change. Find a way to make a difference, not just in your own lives but in the country, in the world! Please. If you don't make changes now then it is us, your grandchildren, that will die.
